NMR Methods for Labeled Proteins
Topics:
- Overview of NMR experiments for protein structure determination.
- Introduction to triple-resonance experiments.
- Bruker software for biomolecular applications.
- Set-up and acquisition of triple-resonance experiments.
- Introduction to shaped pulses.
- Recent methodological developments in bio-NMR
Remarks:
This is a course for experienced users of Avance spectrometers working with labelled protein samples. The background for choosing and setting-up 3D-triple-resonance experiments for proteins is given. During the practical sessions representative spectra such as 3D-15N-NOESY-HSQC, HNHA, HNCA, HNCOCA, CBCA(CO)NH and HCCH-TOCSY are acquired. The implementation of the shaped pulses needed for biomolecular NMR and the use of adiabatic pulses, is covered.
Prerequisite Qualification:
Participation in the course Advanced NMR Methods or corresponding knowledge.
