HR-MAS

This 1 day course covers the Hr-MAS hardware and software. Sample preparation of a variety of materials will be discussed. Acquisition of Hr-MAS spectra in both manual mode and under full automation will be covered.
 

Experiments:

  • Choice of rotor and insert type
  • Sample preparation of tissues, polymers, and liquid samples
  • Sample spinning methods
  • Spectra acquisition
     

Prerequisite:

This course will assume basic NMR and TopSpin knowledge. Attendance at AVANCE I - Liquids or the equivalent is required.
