TopSpin
The next generation of NMR data acquisition and processing Software
TopSpin™ is our new software package for acquisition, processing and analyzing NMR data, streamlined for your convenience. TopSpin was designed for Windows® and Linux® users with a highly intuitive interface utilizing the most widespread standards familiar from word processing, graphics, or presentation programs, providing the same look-and-feel for your NMR applications.
What is new in TopSpin ?
Key features
- TopGuide™ - Intuitive Acquisition
- Comprehensive Data Evaluation
- Automation - High sample throughput
- Individual user customization
- Structure Analysis Tools
- Acquire spectra of biomolecules
- Method Development Environment
- Printing - Archiving results
- TopSpin student edition
In any one window you may display multiple spectra, e.g., to compare a series of similar 1D spectra, to display the results of a peak de-convolution, or to superimpose 2D spectra. Spectral regions may be displayed along with the overview spectrum. TopSpin is not only indispensable for production work, but is also designed for the new and casual user.
The Processing Guide allows for step-by-step processing. Each step is accompanied by suggested relevant parameters and a Help button explaining exactly each processing feature.
The NMR data to be processed may originate from various sources: several Bruker formats are supported such as XWIN-NMR, WIN-NMR, and ASPECT. In addition, the IUPAC JCAMP-DX standard format along with data from other non-Bruker NMR instruments can be imported. TopSpin will also archive or e-mail data in the JCAMP-DX, and in the well-known zip format.
Users who are familiar with Bruker's XWIN-NMR software can continue to use command line commands, automation (AU) programs and macros while enjoying TopSpin's superior interface and extended features.
Java™ Technology
TopSpin is based on the same technology employed by a large number of modern client server, and Web applications: Java. This superior programming language, which has evolved over the past half decade, ensures the platform independence of TopSpin on the one hand, while delivering increased programming productivity on the other.
Standard System Requirements
In order to run TopSpin, you need a state-of-the-art PC equipped with 1 Gbytes of memory and an Ethernet™ interface. The PC may run under Windows XP, Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS 3 or WS 4.
