Structure determination of biomolecules
Structural biology is one of the most important applications of NMR in Life Sciences today and can be optimally performed with the AVANCE series and its purpose-designed user interfaces. For example, the BioTools™ interface enables the user to routinely run complex multidimensional experiments for the determination of the 3D structures of biopolymers.
The AVANCE digital NMR system is a prime example of the state-of-the-art technology required to obtain the optimum results in these exceptionally demanding applications, whether at 500, 700, or 900 MHz. The AVANCE series excels through its incorporation of a multitude of developments pioneered by Bruker and covering all critical aspects of NMR instrumentation - ranging from actively shielded magnets and digital lock to the unique digital frequency synthesis with exceptional rf amplitude linearity, spectral purity, and accuracy in high-speed phase shifting.
