These data were acquired using a BioSpec 47/40

Rat brains at three time-points after an MCAO* insult, with (bottom row) and without (top row) cerebroprotective drug treatment. The compound reduces the growth of both lesion volume and its severity (note the very different lesion size at the outset).

*MCAO:  Middle Cerebral Artery Occlusion
