MR-Acquisition and Processing in Preclinical Research and Material Science

ParaVision

Intuitive routine software package and latest cutting-edge techniques
for pre-clinical MR imaging and spectroscopy.

Angiography

An increasing number of preclinical MR imaging applications now demand excellent cardiac images and movies. With IntraGate Angiography Package (wip*), independent cardiac, respiration and cardiac angiography can be readily acquired without the need for conventional triggering.

MIP - Mouse heart at different moments of the cardiac cycle

IntraGate Angiography
With MIP a visualization of coronary arteries is possible in vivo. Data acquired with BioSpec 117/16

Cardiac MRI

With IntraGate™, independent cardiac, respiration and cardiac plus respiration movies can be readily acquired. Self-gating with IntraGate provides a steady state condition which avoids the flashing effects common in conventional ECG triggering and respiratory gating. Since cardiac and respiratory cycles are detected by a navigator signal, no triggering hardware is required.

Parallel routine imaging
Parallel T2 RARE imaging: Standard acquisition with 3:21 min scan time (top) compared to parallel acquisition at an acceleration factor of 2 with 1:47 min total scan time

Parallel Imaging

Parallel imaging is available for all imaging techniques including echo planer imaging (except spiral imaging) for reduced scan times, higher animal throughput and improved spatial resolution.
