ESEEM and 2D-HYSCORE

Electron Spin Echo Envelope Modulation (ESEEM) is one of the most popular techniques to measure the hyperfine interaction (HFI) parameters between electron spins and nearby nuclear spins. From the analysis of the ESEEM signals detailed information about electron spin density distribution, distances and bonding angles is gained. 2D-HYSCORE is a technique also based on the ESEEM effect and is the method of choice for frozen solutions and powders. All ESEEM-type of experiments are standard features of the E 580 and are supported by dedicated acquisition and processing tools in Xepr.
