CryoPlatform
The CryoPlatform provides the cooling for the CryoProbe
The CryoPlatform's main purpose is to provide the cooling infrastructure needed for the operation of cryogenic probes. It's advantages are:
- Ease of use
- With One-Push-Button Control
- Continuous, unattended operation
- Integrated in AVANCE Spectrometer family
- Standard CryoCoupler™ connects to all Bruker BioSpin CryoProbes™
Components of the CryoPlatform consists of a CryoCooling Unit and a Helium Compressor. The Cryocooling Unit, the heart of the cooling system is a Gifford McMahon cryocooler which is driven by pressurized helium supplied by the helium compressor. Cooling CryoProbes is accomplished with a closed-looped helium gas flow via a flexible transferline. Helium gas consumptions is minimal and used only for system purging and make up gas.
The CryoCooling unit has dedicated electronics control and monitors the entire system during all phases of operation. It has an automatic error handling and safety shutdown functions. The helium compressor is remotely controlled from the CryoController, therefore may be installed outside of the NMR lab.
Several helium compressors options are available to make the Cryoplatform siting at your facility easy including water or air-cooled versions and indoor and outdoor models.
Options: Sample protection device - provides additional protection beyond the CryoCooling unit in the case of a failure of the house power and air. Under conditions of house utility failure the sample protection system will lift the sample, thereby protecting it from freezing.
