Description
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our service team. We are specifically looking for a candidate with aptitudes in spectrometer hardware and troubleshooting hardware problems. Essential duties include installation of NMR systems or accessories at customer's facility and test to ensure full functionality according to specifications, and review performance reports and documentation from customers and field representatives, and inspect malfunctioning or damaged product to determine nature and scope of problem and effect repairs. The position provides opportunities for travel.
Qualification
The position requires Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. level chemists, biochemists or physicists with NMR experience. The degree should be supported by a reasonable amount of laboratory experience. Qualified applicants will possess superior interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written and will show strong computer competencies. The successful candidate shows familiarity with a wide variety of NMR experiments.
Must be willing and able to travel nationally on a regular basis and internationally occasionally. Must maintain current travel documents.
