Bruker Efficient Sample Transfer
The introduction of biological screening and combinatorial chemistry for chemical synthesis has also introduced new requirements for NMR automation, e.g., the use of well plates for sample input, increased demands on throughput, and the need for quick and simple interpretation of the acquired NMR data. Bruker has once again been the pioneer in developing a solution to these new needs: BEST-NMR.
This innovative concept provides powerful flexibility in combination with our NMR Suite software package, particularly IconNMR and AMIX:
First of all, Bruker offers a patented flow probe, which offers improved NMR sensitivity and minimized shimming requirements.
Second, a liquid handler, which can accommodate a wide variety of input configurations, ranging from 96 well plates to vial trays, is fully integrated into the NMR automation software via a user-friendly interface which allows direct access to flow injection-specific parameters and methods.
The heated transfer line which connects the automatic sampler to the flow probe allows the use of all common solvents including DMSO. Automation control is easily performed via the intuitive IconNMR user interface. A variety of one- or two-dimensional experiments can be quickly defined for each individual sample or for a whole group of samples.
Last but not least, the AMIX data processing package provides powerful tools and statistical algorithms for semi-automated data interpretations based on a highly efficient database approach for both one- and two-dimensional spectra.
