AVANCE III

Fastest, highest performance and most flexible NMR spectrometer on the market.

The ultimate NMR platform for life-science and materials research, as well as a robust, automated, easy-to-use NMR analysis system for pharma/biotech, chemistry, metabolomics, nutritional science and molecular diagnostics research.

The AVANCE III features the most advanced RF generation in the industry, a unique digital lock for superb experimental stability, and second-generation digital receiver (2G-DR technology) for high dynamic range, high digital resolution and large bandwidth digital filtering. The result is the extremely fast Avance III spectrometer with 25 ns event timing (12.5 ns clock), including simultaneous phase, frequency and amplitude switching, and unsurpassed RF performance, enabling even the most demanding new solid-state NMR experiments.

Digilock for Experimental stability
The Digilock uses highest speed FPGAs, latest analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters with clock rates up to 320 MHz, and provides on-the-fly high speed digital signal processing, hence enabling locking on complex deuterated solvents having multiple solvent peaks.  Together with the latest high speed converters and fast digital signal processing this concept provides ultimate performance with higher precision and greater immunity against external RF interferences.  Coupled with cold deuterium pre-amplifiers inherent in the design of all Bruker’s CryoProbes, unprecedented lock sensitivity and stability can be achieved. (The DigiLock is a key module of the newly introduced and game-changing CryoProbe™ Prodigy)

the SmartVT  and the SmartCooler Monitoring sample temperature
Further contributing to overall spectrometer stability and NMR probe performance, the SmartVT, a unique, new Variable Temperature (VT) architecture, consist  of a modular, plug-and-play multi-channel temperature control system together with the new SmartCooler.  The SmartVT controller has been significantly enhanced by incorporating novel airflow monitoring and regulation capabilities, as well as the potential to handle up to four heater channels, while monitoring up to nine thermal sensors, and at a much greater precision and regulation speed than before.
The new SmartCooler, Bruker’s new VT gas pre-conditioning unit to Bruker’s NMR probes, combined with the new SmartVT allows the  temperature of the NMR sample is very accurately monitored and controlled, making the NMR results insensitive to laboratory instabilities., e.g. in the VT gas supply of the laboratory and day/night cycles in temperature.

HPLNA for optimal sensitivity and minimum perturbations
The HPLNA is designed for maximum performance for both solid state and liquid state spectroscopy.  While latest GaAs technology allows highest sensitivity, the novel 4kW peak power active Transmit/Receive switch provides full linearity in the transmit path of the spectrometer, delivering ultimate selective excitation performance for any NMR application.  Due to its well designed packaging and filtering, the HPLNA is virtually immune to electromagnetic interferences and thus avoids any pick-up from unwanted external RF sources. This results in optimal sensitivity while at the same time minimizing the risk of disturbances from “digital communication around the NMR laboratory.

Avance III NanoBay

The new Avance™ III NanoBay is the most comprehensively integrated, state-of-the-art NMR spectrometer ever produced. The NanoBay’s innovative design sees Bruker’s high-performance Avance III NMR spectrometer technology boldly held within an exceptionally compact enclosure. It delivers high productivity with highestquality NMR information for pharmaceutical and industrial chemists, for academic research and teaching, as well as food analysis, diagnostics research and other small molecule applications. The AVANCE III NanoBay is available at 300 and 400 MHz.

MicroBay

The AVANCE MicroBay is the result of a very consequent and successful integration of the main system modules. The MicroBay features two broadbanded RF channels and is expandable up to three full channels (optional).
The AVANCE MicroBay system is also available at 500 and 600 MHz, as BEST NMR™ and as LC-NMR/MS versions.

OneBay

The AVANCE OneBay electronic rack is ideally suited for laboratories with limited space, but with a need for further expansion requiring additional space such as CPMAS. The modules in the OneBay configuration are otherwise exactly the same as the ones found in the MicroBay console.
AVANCE 500 MHz and 600 MHz come standard in a OneBay cabinet.

TwoBay

The AVANCE TwoBay electronic rack is used for NMR systems with full high power solids upgrade or with four or more channels. With the additional space, even more hardware can be added for expansion up to eight RF channels! Of course, gradient spectroscopy, solids, microimaging and a host of other accessories are available.
